🎨 DESIGN & FOLDING MECHANISM

The Motocompo was designed to fold and fit into the trunk of the contemporary Honda City. The handlebars, seat, and foot pegs fold flat, and the body features a master fuel switch as well as integrated lift handles and tie-down points to facilitate transport. The bike weighs just 99 pounds with fluids, making it incredibly portable. The bike was painted in Honda Spa Yellow (Y52P) under prior ownership, according to the seller, with black rubber side strips and replacement silver and red Motocompo graphics.

⚙️ ENGINE & PERFORMANCE

The air-cooled 49cc two-stroke single is mounted horizontally and was factory rated at 2.5 horsepower and 2.75 lb-ft of torque. Features include oil injection, a kick starter, and an exhaust system that is tucked beneath the rear bodywork. The carburetor was reportedly overhauled in 2024 under prior ownership, and the fuel and oil injection lines were replaced at that time. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a single-speed transmission with an automatic clutch, and the transmission fluid was flushed in 2024.

🛞 SUSPENSION & BRAKING

Steel 8″ three-spoke wheels are finished in black and are wrapped with Dunlop 398 tires. Braking is from drums at both ends. Suspension consists of a leading-axle telescopic fork as well as a monoshock connected to the drive unit, which doubles as the swingarm. Instrumentation consists of a handlebar-mounted 50-kmh speedometer and an oil indicator light as well as a fuel-level gauge located atop the fuel tank. No odometer was equipped from the factory, so total mileage is unknown.
